“Celebrate our nonbinary community members and join us as we kick off San Diego Pride Week! We will host a community gathering at The Center to celebrate our nonbinary community members during Nonbinary Awareness Week.”

UC Pride at 4th of July

July 4th, 2025 - Did you catch UC Pride’s booth at the University City 4th of July celebration at Standley Park? It was a wonderful day of temporary tattoos, pride flags, and showing up and out for our community. A big shout out and thank you to the members who staffed the booth so we can let more folks know we’re out here supporting LGBTQ+ youth!

June 27, 2025 - A big thank you to everyone who was able to join us for the UC Pride Picnic 2025! It was a beautiful, sunny afternoon of tie-dye, corn hole, sidewalk chalk, music, food and great company. We had over 60 community members and family join us for our inaugural event!

Happy Transgender Day of Visibility 2025

What is Transgender Day of Visibility?

This day didn’t always exist! It was actually brought about by Rachel Crandall-Crocker, a transgender woman who was seeking to celebrate trans joy. As Rachel attended events like Trans Day of Remembrance, she realized that it was vital to also come together to celebrate transgender lives, and so she began by spreading the word among others on Facebook back in 2009. Since then, the day has become recognized by major LGBTQ+ rights organizations internationally and celebrated with many different events. We’ve compiled some local events below:
